Lee's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

33-year old center Seounghyun Lee (201-C-1992) put on an amazing game in the last round for Hyundai Mobis Phoebus and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat KCC Egis (#5, 17-14) 81-66. Thanks to this victory Mobis Phoebus moved-up to the 10th position in South Korean league. Mobis Phoebus is bottom ranked team in the standings. They need more victories to leave last spot and improve bad 10-21 record. In the team's last game Lee had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Lee has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 8.4ppg) and assists (5th best: 2.5apg).

Second best performed player last round was Kerem Kanter (208-F/C-1995) of Seoul Samsung Thunders. He is Turkish forward in his first season at Seoul Thunders. In the last game Kanter recorded an impressive double-double of 40 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Samsung Thunders lost that game 70-83 to the higher-ranked LG Sakers (#1, 22-9). Despite lost game Seoul Thunders moved up to 9th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-20 record. Kanter is a newcomer at Seoul Thunders and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Shawn Long (208-F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) of Busan KCC Egis (#5). Long scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Long's great performance the Egis lost 66-81 to the lower-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#10, 10-21). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing KCC Egis needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 17 victories and 14 lost games. Long has a great season in South Korea. After 31 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.5ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 12.9rpg (2nd best).
